• 16 oz empty spray bottle
• 1 cup white vinegar
• 1 cup distilled water*
• 10 drops tea tree essential oil

Note: there will be a slight vinegar smell. If it’s too strong for you, adjust your recipe to use less vinegar and more water. You may also add 1-2 tbs dish soap or liquid castile soap to the mix to soften the scent of vinegar. Avoid the use of harsh ingredients such as rubbing alcohol, chlorine bleach, or baking soda.

* if you don’t have distilled water (or don’t want to spend money on buying it at the store), boil hot water and let it cool off. This is a very close second to using distilled water. The boiling kills off harmful bacteria and germs, which is what you want for best longevity of your DIY recipe.

1. Fill all ingredients in your glass spray bottle.
2. Shake well before each use.
3. To use, spray the area and wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
4. Ditch the paper towels! Instead, opt for washable and reusable microfiber towels.
