An indie dev asked what the right price would be for their app. Pricing really is one of the hardest things of doing indie development. It's more art than science and you're never sure if you're doing it right; thinking "what if I ask more/less money, would I make more sales?". Also super hard to get good feedback, people also don't know themselves why they pay a certain amount for an app. In the end it's often just choosing something you believe in and then learn as you go.

Rule of thumb: price it more than you think it should be. Slowly adjust the price down or up from that pount until you are satisfied with the revenue per user (RPU)

Six of the best WWDC talks ever are the scroll view sessions by Eliza Block & Josh Shaffer. A must-watch for every iOS developer! They're no longer listed on the Apple Developer site, but we’ve got you covered with a list of these gems here:

"This is really cool, basically some guys who made an unofficial index of every WWDC talk/session/tech talk since the year 2000." — MacBreak Weekly Hey, that's us Leo Laporte is talking about! 😆

Worked a bit in an older UIKit based project. Definitely makes me appreciate the declarative approach of SwiftUI even more. It's so great to just bind a value to a SwiftUI view and be done with it. The flexibility of UIKit is great, any view can do almost anything you want to. It however comes at the cost of having to write so much code to keep state up to date... #throwback 😄

New engineering blogpost! Sending data between the Apple Watch and iPhone through HealthKit before the workout started didn't work for me. Wasted a good day on this, so figured it would make a good blogpost:

Apple shows a digital shadow of the Apple Pencil. When you roll or rotate the pencil the shadow rotates with it. 😮Such great attention to detail! Helping you to work more accurately.

Did you know Apple removes WWDC talks over time from the Developer app? I was very surprised how many removed talks still have their video streams hosted by Apple! Here's an overview of the availability of all WWDC talks ever. We figured this out while building WWDC Index, an overview of every WWDC talk ever held: https://lnkd.in/eWuuPX-j

Wanted to get some more insight in our website traffic, like what pages are visited most etc. Learn a little where we can improve. Didn't want to add identifiers and cookies or other privacy invading tools, so ended up adding Plausible.io. Quite a simple analytics tool, not too much bells and whistles, but works quite well so far! Especially valuable to learn where traffic is coming from. Was interesting to learn the Reddit post of Bezel for Mac is still generating visitors for example.

Squished a series of bugs and polished quite some rough edges on Bezel for Mac recording. Feels great make some good progress on recording again.Improved folder selection by adding drag & drop and started on the background selection UI.

Woah, you can control your iPad with your eyes in the next major iOS update!Really love these new accessibility features that are announced ahead of WWDC. Eye control looks impressive and the motion sickness prevention is also a very smart one!
